Why ruin a chicken product with a pork casing?

By

from Kannapolis

Comments about al fresco Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Buffalo Style with Blue Cheese:

I want to buy your products but I can't because of the pork casing. I can have pork & was excited to find your products until I saw the pork casing.

Wish the product label specified "dried garlic"

By

from Waxhaw

Comments about al fresco Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Buffalo Style with Blue Cheese:

Tasty product but I have an allergy to dried garlic. The product labeling didn't specifically call out that dried garlic was an ingredient. I guess it was lumped into "natural spices" or similar labeling. Your website has more detail not on the package which I appreciate. I had a good dinner last night, but paid for it with an allergic reaction.

Why the Blue Cheese?????

By

from Philadelphia

Comments about al fresco Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Buffalo Style with Blue Cheese:

Used to love Buffalo style chicken sausages until now. They were perfectly fine without the blue cheese. If someone wants blue cheese, they can add it as an extra. Please take the cheese out - hate it!!!!

Please tell me why companies insist on making chicken sausages with pork casing? It makes no sense! As a person who does not eat pork, I can not eat this product.

Love it!

By

from Rochester

Comments about al fresco Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Buffalo Style with Blue Cheese:

So glad that you use natural casing. I hate the gelatin ones--too tough. These are nice and easy to chew. I only wish my store carried more varieties so I can try them all.

I love the chicken sausage buffalo style.

By

from Davis

Comments about al fresco Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage Buffalo Style with Blue Cheese:

I use this product by itself or in other dishes calling for sausage. It is gluten free and is one of the only sausages that I can actually eat. Some of the other products add preservatives that irratate my stomach but this product does not. The only issue I have with it...is that I can't find this product in stores.

Dinner Fully Cooked Chicken Sausage
Cooking Instructions

Grill
Grill sausage until golden brown over medium-low heat, about 7-9 minutes (turning frequently) and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Oven Broil or Bake
Place sausages on a broiling pan about 8 inches from heat source; Broil until golden brown on all sides, turning frequently, about 7-9 minutes, and internal temperature reaches 165°F. Bake, in a single-layer, on a baking sheet at 350°F, for 7-9 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Pan Fry/Skillet/Sauté
Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil to skillet. Place sausages in skillet and heat on medium high about 7-9 minutes, turning frequently, until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Microwave
Lay sausage on microwave safe plate, cover with a paper towel and microwave on high for 30 seconds.

Tips
Never pierce the casing.
Our all natural chicken sausages are lean, made with skinless chicken meat and fully cooked. Piercing the casing will let out any natural juices and in turn, dry out the sausage.

Save the slicing for last!
When grilling, sautéing, or even baking, brown whole links of sausage, let cool, then slice according to recipe. This will avoid a dry sausage and keep natural juices in.
