Ingredients
1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage
6 oz small mozzarella balls (fresh mozzarella ciliegine)
10 oz cherry tomatoes, red and orange
2 oz whole basil leaves
2 tbsp balsamic glaze
¼ cup olive oil
Directions:
- 1Pre-heat grill to medium high, lightly oil grates.
- 2Thread 5” (8 - 10) skewers with the mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves between each layer.
- 3Grill the sausages and rotate every 2 - 3 minutes. Grill for 6 - 8 minutes or to an internal temperature of 165 df. Slice grilled sausages in the diagonal 1/2” thick.
- 4Serve with skewered caprese salad, and drizzle with balsamic glaze and olive oil.
- 5Optional - serve with your favorite pesto.
