1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Style Chicken Sausage, sliced

3 bunches broccolini, coarsely chopped

1 cup orzo pasta

2 1/2 cups chicken broth

2 tbsp. olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1Heat the oil in a 10-inch regular or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken sausage and cook until evenly browned on both sides, 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 2Add the chopped broccolini, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until bright green, about 5 minutes.
  • 3Add the garlic and orzo and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • 4Add the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce to a simmer, and cook until the pasta is al dente and the liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
  • 5Stir in the parmesan and season as needed with salt and pepper.
  • 6Serve and Enjoy!
