Roasted Pepper Asiago Cajun Style Pasta Bake

Ingredients

1 Package Alfresco Roasted Red Pepper Asiago Chicken Sausage (sliced into coins & cooked)

½ - 1 Box of Pasta (cooked)

½ Cup Half and half

¼ Cup Heavy Cream

½ Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)

1 Bell Green Bell Pepper (thinly sliced)

2 Tbs Olive Oil

½ Medium Yellow Onion (diced)

1 Clove of Garlic (minced)

4 Tbs Cajun Seasoning (can use premade or recipe below!)

Cajun Seasoning Mix: Start all ingredients at 1:1 ratio and customize to taste preference!  Smoked Paprika  Kosher salt  Garlic powder  Ground black pepper  Ground white pepper  Onion powder  Dried Oregano  Cayenne  Thyme

Directions:

  • 1Place sauté pan on the stove and preheat over medium heat until warm
  • 2Add 1-2 tbs of olive oil
  • 3Once the olive oil goes thin in texture, add garlic and onion, and sauté until translucent
  • 4Add bell pepper and stir
  • 5Add half and half and heavy cream and stir until combined and mixture is heated through
  • 6Add sliced Roasted Pepper Asiago chicken sausage and stir
  • 7Add cooked pasta stir then add grated parmesan cheese
  • 8Over medium heat stir pasta all together until combined
  • 9Place in an oven safe dish and put in a 350 oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and pasta has heated through
  • 10Serve and enjoy!
