The Better Baked Feta Chicken Sausage Pasta

"Trendy recipes come and go but my take on the TikTok famous Feta Pasta is something you’re going to be making over and over again. It’s an easy lunch or dinner meal that is sure to have your tastebuds begging for more!"

Ingredients

1 package al fresco Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage

1 block feta

1 pint grape tomatoes

6 cloves garlic

1 tbsp. olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp. Italian seasoning

1 tbsp. crushed red pepper

2 tbsp. minced garlic

1 cup basil

1/4 cup sun dried tomatoes

1 cup arugula

Pasta of your choice (farfalle was used here)

Directions:

  • 1In a large pan, add tomatoes, garlic cloves, half the basil, half the sun dried tomatoes, salt, pepper, italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and olive oil. Stir together until all the ingredients are distributed evenly.
  • 2Add the block of feta and coat with minced garlic.
  • 3Bake in a 400 degree oven for 35-40 mins or until the tomatoes start to burst.
  • 4In the meantime, cut your sausage and brown on a stovetop pan.
  • 5Remove the tomatoes and feta from the oven and mix together. You should have a creamy mixture.
  • 6Cook your pasta and drain the water. While still hot, add arugula and the other half of the sun dried tomatoes and stir.
  • 7Add pasta and sausage to the sauce and mix.
  • 8Serve with parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
  • 9Serve and Enjoy!
